Franks & Co were pleased to represent the Institute of Trade Mark Attorneys at the UK Intellectual Property Offices "Creating Brand Value From Business" event on February 23, 2010 at Haydock Park Racecourse near Liverpool.
Seminars were given by the Intellectual Property Office on the relevance of trade marks, patents and designs, and there were also presentations from Business Link and UKTI and the Institute of Trade Mark Attorneys.
Jayne Lawton of Growbox Gardens Limited gave a interesting and well presented case study on setting up a business, and protecting innovation by patents, designs and trade marks.
There followed a workshop of one-to-one consultation in which attendees were offered 15 minutes free advice from a patent attorney and trade mark attorney.
