Technical
Robert obtained his MChem honours degree in Chemistry at the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology in 2000 and went on to achieve his PhD in Chemistry from the University of Sheffield in 2004. The PhD investigated Protein Adsorption on Self Assembled Monolayers: A Kinetic and Conformational Study.
Following his academic work, Robert worked as a technical advisor / representative for Starlab UK Limited, a manufacturer of scientific laboratory equipment before joining Franks & Co.

Robert is a representative before the UK Patent Office, UK Trade Marks Registry, UK Designs Registry and the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO).
Robert’s intellectual property experience includes consumer products, computer related inventions, automotive products, and acting for clients in the fashion industry.
