Technical
Haroon earned his degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Wolverhampton, followed by a Master’s in Chemistry and a PhD in Pharmacy at the University of Nottingham. With extensive technical and industrial expertise, he specialises in formulation science, drug delivery systems with an emphasis on topical methods, polymer synthesis, high-resolution spectrometry, imaging techniques, and diagnostic methods for diseases such as BAM.
In his previous role as a Skin Research Laboratory Manager, Haroon has spearheaded research and development initiatives in skin diagnostics, investigating the molecular composition of skin, advancing polymeric microneedle technology, and developing methods utilising cutting-edge analytical techniques such as OrbiSIMSTM. He has presented at international conferences, including the UK Surface Analysis Forum and SIMS Europe, and has been honoured with the Crossley Award for his contributions to industrial innovation.
In addition to his chemical background, Haroon has developed a strong proficiency in automotive engineering, focusing on developments in internal combustion engines, powertrain tuning, advances in diagnostic tools and software for calibration of engine management systems and enhancing automotive electronics.

Haroon is a versatile patent and trademark representative with a rich background in trademark oppositions, prosecution, and conducting comprehensive trademark and patent landscape searches. His skill set encompasses drafting patent specifications and offering opinions on patent infringement, along with various other aspects of intellectual property including designs and copyright. He has effectively prosecuted patents in a range of fields, including chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, and medical devices.

Outside of work
Haroon is a dedicated motorsport enthusiast and race prepares cars for events at Donnington Park circuit. He has meticulously modified a BMW M3, transforming it into a high-performance machine with a full track conversion. This build includes both a supercharger and turbocharger, elevating the car's power from 330 bhp to 700 bhp with upgraded carbon ceramic brakes, race suspension for enhanced handling, and a full roll cage.
Haroon also works on a portfolio of rebuild and restoration projects including iconic vehicles such as the Ford Escort Cosworth, Ford Sierra Cosworth, BMW E30, and Ford Focus RS, each reflecting his commitment to engineering, craftsmanship and performance.
